Reflection:
This project is intended to provide brief and general knowledge about “McDonaldization” phenomenon which is a term sociological term coined by sociologist George Ritzer in his book The McDonaldization of Society in 1993. This project is intended to strengthen and broaden working-with-MSWords skills. I choosed McDonaldization as this project’s topic because I am interested in the topic that nowadays society is adapting the business system of a chain restaurant.
This project is supposed to be completed using only Words or Pages (document type programs). I was supposed to learn about graphic design, some designs rules and try to create an appropriated poster.
Through this project, I learned new skills and reinforced many old ones, for example using graphic arts in Words. I also used my phone to take pictures and transfer it to my laptop in order to make this poster. Furthermore, I am able to organize texts and pictures in a word document. Not only that, I aligned text and picture in a consistent order and explored the way to make gradient color box.
In order to upload this poster on WordPress, I used Snipping tools on windows to capture a part of the screen, saved it and posted the picture file. I also upload the MS Words file to Google Drive and insert the shared link into the picture, so if anyone want to check the original file they can simply click on the picture on my wordpress page and then download it.
