Reflection:

This project is to make a video and poster explaining a process. The process I choose to inform is the process of making budget using Google Spreadsheet. I think this skill is very convenient and useful when you need to keep track of your expenses. For this presentation, I use Adobe Spark to create an process video. This is a self-playing looping video which supplements my poster presentation about the same process. 

This project requires us to make a poster and a video that will supplement the poster. The requirements for the video are using original materials, using video editing software, including screen capture, text and a voice over. For the poster, I am supposed to explain a process using only MS Word of Mac Pages and include graphics, chart etc and original material in order to illustrate this process

In order to making this project, skills such as designing skills, video editing skills are needed. I reinforced many old skills: editing text and pictures in MS Word, editing a video, creating screen capture using snipping tool, uploading and embedding a video into WordPress. I also accomplish a new important skill: recording screen video on Windows.

In order to upload this project on my portfolio, I took 4 steps:

First, use snipping tool to screencap the poster, save it as a picture and upload the docx. file to google drive, get the shareable link.

Second, download the video that is created with Spark, upload it to youtube, get the embedded link

Third, go to portfolio page in WordPress, upload the picture, insert the link to the shareable document.

Fourth, embed the youtube video link.
